Getting together with family and friends is so important for ones health and happiness at many gatherings food is the main focus let us give thanks for healthy food. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. If you are anything like me you’re probably pondering the menu for Thanksgiving dinner. To make life a bit easier on you I’ve put together the Top 10 Raw Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner Dishes. Even if your guests are not eating a raw diet they will enjoy the food. Everyone of theses recipes are healthy, wholesome and absolutely delicious I promise.
I’ll start with the mashed potatoes. It is must haves on the menu.
RAW VEGAN THANKSGIVING RECIPE #1
RAW VEGAN MASHED POTATOES
Ingredients:
3 cups cauliflower florets
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/2cup fresh thyme leaves
1/4cup fresh lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic
Dash of cold pressed olive oil
Pinch of salt and pepper.
Utensils:
Food processor
Preparation:
Place all ingredients into food processor. Process for a couple minutes until all ingredients are mixed well. Enjoy.
Now what Thanksgiving is complete with out the Green Bean Casserole?

RAW GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
Water
juice from one lemon
3 dates
1/4 cup onions
1/2 teaspoon mustered powder
1 and 1/4 cup raw cashews
5 cups cut raw green beans
3 cups raw mushrooms
Utensils:
Sharp knife
Vita Mixer or Blender
Serving bowl
Preparation:
In your vita mixer blend together water, lemon juice, dates, onions and mustered powder. Add cashews and blend, cut green beans and mushrooms mix together. Pore the wet mixture over green beans mix well.
Don’t forget the Cranberries!

RAW VEGAN CRANBERRY RELISH
Ingredients:
Cranberries
Oranges
Dates
Apples
Raisins
Utensils:
Food processor
Preparation:
Mix cranberries,dates and raisins in food processor, pules oranges and apples next with mixture. Add some fresh squeezed orange juice over top. Since this is a raw recipe the amount of each ingredients is based on how much you want. You can’t go wrong.
What would Thanksgiving be with out Sweet Potatoes?

RAW SWEET POTATO SALAD
Ingredients:
3 sweet potatoes
2 cloves of garlic
6 scallions
2 cups grape tomatoes
1 cup micro greens
1 large cucumber
1 cup walnuts
drizzle of olive oil
drizzle of apple cider vinegar
dash of salt and pepper
pinch of cyan pepper
Utensils:
Sharp cutting knife
Cutting bored
Garlic press
Large Serving bowl
Preparation:
Grade sweet potatoes with a cheese grader or simply cut into small cubed pieces, mash the garlic, cut scallions, tomatoes, micro greens, cucumber and walnuts. Mix everything together in a large serving bowl.Drizzle olive oil and apple cyder vinegar over top add a dash of salt and pepper with a sprinkle of cyan pepper.
Now we are talking stuffing. For many of us we only eat stuffing once a year. You can stuff yourself on this stuffing and feel good about it.
RAW VEGAN THANKSGIVING RECIPE #5
RAW VEGAN STUFFING
Ingredients:
2 cups celery
1 cup soaked sunflower seeds
1 cups whole fresh cranberries
1 large apple
1/2 white onion
1 cups yogi chai tea
dash of sage
dash of cinnamon
Utensils:
Sharp knife
Strainer
Food processor
Big bowl
Preparation:
But celery apples and onions place into bowl with sunflower seeds and cranberries. Pore chai tea over mixture and let soak for 20 minutes. Place everything in food processor with sage and cinnamon. Pules 17 times and its ready to serve. You can double the recipe if needed to serve many guest.
Squash is very much a fall food.
RAW VEGAN THANKSGIVING RECIPE #6
RAW BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP
Ingredients:
2 cups peeled and cubed butternut squash
1/4 cup parsley
1 avocado
1 or 2 cups warm water
1/4 of a peeled onion
Pinch of salt
1 clove of garlic
1 inch of fresh ginger
Dash of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of curry
Pinch of cyan pepper
1/4 cup olive oil (optional)
Utensils:
Blender
Preparations:
Place all ingredients into blender. Mix well.
Here is a very creative way to use pumpkin.

RAW PUMPKIN HUMMUS
Ingredients:
1 cup raw cubed pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon fresh graded ginger
Juice from 1/2 large lemon
2 tablespoons tahini
1/4 cup water
Pinch of salt
dash of pepper
Utensils:
Food processor
Spatula
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in food processor, mixture should be creamy.
We gotta have dessert and what is Thanksgiving with out the Pumpkin Pie?

RAW PUMPKIN PIE
Ingredients:
3 cups sugar pie pumpkin
3 pounds pitted dates
1 dash cinnamon
1 pinch ginger fresh or powdered
2 cups pecans
1 ripe and ready persimmon
1 vanilla bean
Utensils:
Pie pan
food processor
vita mix blender
Preparation:
Pie crust- place pecans, 1 cup of dates with a pinch cinnamon into your food processor blend. Pore into pie pan, push in mixture to form the crus
Pie filling- place pumpkin, dates, persimmon, dash cinnamon, dash ginger, pinch of vanilla bean into vita mix blend and blend. Pore into pie crust. Chill for 2 hours or serve at room temperature.

RAW APPLE PIE
Ingredients:
2 cups soaked walnuts
5 pitted dates
4 large apples
Juice from one lemon
1 cup raisins
1 ripe banana
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Utensils:
Food processor
Pie Pan
Preparation:
Crust- blend walnuts and dates in food processor than press mixture into pie pan forming the crust.
Filling- in your food processor blend 2 sliced apples with lemon juice.. Filling should be chunky. Pore into pie crust.
Topping-blend raisins, 2 sliced apples, banana and cinnamon until mushy. Pore over pie filling.
More yummy sweet potatoes.

RAW SWEET POTATO PIE
Ingredients:
2 shredded sweet potatoes
1 cup soaked dates
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1/4 cup water
2 cups walnuts or almonds or both
dash of salt
Utensils:
Food processor
Pie plate
Preparation:
Pie crust- Blend date with nuts together with a pinch of salt pore into pie plate smash down to form the crust.
Pie filling- Blend sweet potatoes, dates, cinnamon, ginger, coconut oil and water together, pore into pie crust spread evenly.
