Are you looking for healthier alternatives for your children to munch on? Me too. I have found some super simple recipes that you can prepare and have ready when the kids race home from school. This Raw Watermelon Orange Sorbet I use as a ice cream substitute. Kids love ice cream even in the winter months so this recipe is perfect for the little guys and gals. Also it is super simple made from raw fruit, no dairy or refined sugar. Like the kids will really care about the healthy stuff? They will love it for its great taste.
The lovely Lauren Amerson shares with us how to prepared a Raw Watermelon Orange Sorbet. I think you are going to love it.
Raw Watermelon Orange Sorbet
Vita mix blender
Ice cube tray
Cut watermelon and place into blender along with oranges and the juice from a lemon, blend together. Pore mixture into ice cube tray then freeze, once froze place cubes back into your blender, blend once more. Now it is ready to sever.
One of the most fun and easiest recipes you can make with your children. The best thing for me is that my son enjoys eating it and I know it is good for him. 🙂
