The challenge in choosing raw food diet is the feeling of being deprived from all the delicious and good food you are used to. But don’t worry we’ll help you find ways to overcome the feeling of deprivation. Our topic, eating for energy without deprivation may help you. So how can you stop yourself from eating cooked and commercial foods out there? I know its hard most especially if it’s your first time to experience a whole new diet. Well, let’s take a look at the discussion below.
Eating for Energy without Deprivation
Feeling Deprived on Raw? How to Feel Completely Satisfied
Many people when switching to a 100% Raw Food Diet start to feel deprived. They feel they’re missing out on all of the good times they used to have.
This feeling of deprivation makes many people fail to succeed at staying 100% raw. Then after they “cheat” and enjoy their cooked food and fill the void that the cooked food filled they feel all bad about themselves.
They think they’ve failed and that they’re no good. That they have no character or self-discipline. That they’re losers in life.
But what if there were a way to switch to a 100% Raw Food Diet and NOT feel deprived. Not feel like your missing out and in fact feeling that you had been depriving yourself when eating cooked food.
If you could find a way to fill that deprivation void then going raw would be easy, wouldn’t it?
Successful Raw Foodists Actually Feel Deprived When Forced To Eat Cooked Food
Think about this for a moment. Most long term Raw Foodists I know would feel highly deprived or as if they were being punished if they were somehow forced to eat cooked food for any significant period of time.
So why it is that everyone feels deprived? The cooked foodist feels deprived when going raw and the raw foodist feels deprived when going back to cooked food. It has to do with the creation of an emotional vacuum or a void.
Well I can tell you from the Raw Foodist perspective it’s because of how the raw food makes you feel. When you feel this good, look even better and on top of that when you really enjoy the food you eat every day, there’s no reason or need to even think about eating cooked food.
Eating raw becomes as easy and natural as it is for a lifelong cooked food eater to eat a few slices of pizza. For me to eat pizza, though I might enjoy the taste (while I burn my mouth) I would never again want to eat it. I associate way too much pain to what eating pizza will do to my body, even just eating it once.
Over Time Being Raw Becomes Easy
One of the big issues is time. When you stop doing a habit such as eating cooked food, over time that habit gets weaker and weaker in your mind and emotions. Each day you stop eating cooked food weakens your bond and addiction to cooked food.
How To Fill The Void
So how do we fill this void during this 30 to 60 day period of going 100% raw? Do we just use willpower or is there a better way?
There certainly is a better way and I call it “Desire-Power.” This is instead of willpower where you have to force yourself and use incredible self-discipline in order to stay raw. With willpower you’re in essence forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to do.
Desire-Power is much easier because you generate and link great desire to eating 100% raw and being 100% healthy. With desire-power you simply look to fill that void from as many angles as possible so that you don’t struggle or feel deprived when eating 100% raw. When you fill the void you’ll be surprised how easy it is to stay 100% raw.
Eating for energy without deprivation will need your will power and discipline. Just think that what you are sacrificing is worth dying for because it’s your body. You are the only one who can take good care of your own self. So the choice is yours and there is only one choice we teach you and that is health, vitality and longevity. Forget about deprivation and just keep on going with your raw food diet.
